This is mainly represented by the lyrics of the song, using fear, “as I scream your name; before I fade away; deep in the dark... there's a ghost inside of me; nice to meet you voice inside my head.” But also using awe and love, “can you hear me; do you need me; we live ,we love, we lie;” the connotations represent resent, fear, love, and awe. Furthermore, the deeper meaning lies in the song title “The Spectre.” The word spectre, also known as specter, means ‘a ghost, something widely feared as a possible unpleasant or dangerous occurrence.’ however, not only is there the word ‘Spectre’ but is “the Spectre” joined by a determiner, creates the term, “the Spectre” to be an adjective to describe “Alan Walker” as frightful and fearful. Thus, in between the lines, Alan Walker intended, to resemble someone who fears the outcome of breakup.
