the song was written bye synyster gates originally for his grandfather but when the rev died he was almost finished writing it so he changed the meaning. I think its the only song syn wrote if not one of the only ones. and its about missing somebody very close to you and not knowing what your going to do because theyre gone and you didn't get to say goodbye. :( and whatever asshole (sorry about the language) up there said to get over his death, true avenged sevenfold fans aren't going to get over it anytime soon and we know that we can't change what unfortunately happened to him but we all miss him deeply and that was offensive.
