I had a guy in college send me this song once. Long story short but he was a summer camp love.

I believe he was my first experience of true love or puppy love. I was 16 or so, he was 17. All very innocent but we fell for each other.

We lived about 2 hours apart but then he went to college. When I graduated, he had already transferred to the college I would be going to. We planned to be together.

Only he met someone else and as soon as I got to college he acted like he wanted me until he could no longer fool himself.

He sent me thing song over instant message. I can never listen to this song the same because of how harsh it was. I cannot even remember how I truly dealt with it but this song brings back a sting every time I hear it.
