i think this song is about how Amy(or someone) is in a relationship of a kind, and the partner dosent pay attention to her so she's unimportant and insignifecent to her partner. So Amy decides to leave and not come back. To her partner everything normal . So Amys asking "isnt something missing?" well to the partner not so after all they've been through he dosen't care and Amy knows this. But she wants the partner to care. In the opening lines of the song

i think this means that there's a problem in there relationship and she wants it to stop

the partners having an affair and amy knows about it and is saying "can you not to be with her, can you stand to be with me"

with the pleases I think Amy's Begging him to stop

shes the sacrifice in the relationship its not important for her to be in it. The partners not going to try to make things better, and she's dying to know if he ever loved her really, but she's all alone and wonders if she'll be missed in this relationship
