Nina Simone - To Love Somebody Lyrics Meaning

This is one of my favorite songs of Nina. She speaks of how it is for a woman to be in love with a man. For women, love means everything to us and when we find that one person then we love with everything we got even if the person doesn't love us back. To love somebody is to give them your all without holding back and life is not fulfilling when they're not in your life. Because true love is rare and it can only be shared with that one person that the heart has chosen.
