The Killers - Everything Will Be Alright Lyrics Meaning

Okay, I just submitted an interpretation for this song like 4 days ago or so, but know I have a slightly different take on it. I still feel that he stumbled upon a beautiful girl one night, they got together, and split up. Okay, now I feel that with the lyrics, "So take your suitcase 'Cuase I don't mind. And baby doll I meant it everytime" he's telling her to go ahead and leave, but he wants her to know that everytime he told her he loved her, he really meant it. Now, he's telling himself that everything will be alright, while at the same time, knowing that it will not (Doublethink, for my 1984 fans). This, however, really doesn't make any sense to me. That is to say, who in the hell would want to leave Brandon Flowers? Come on.

Taking this interpretation, it gives the song more of a sad, melancholic feel.
