I believe the song's meaning is that Taylor found her boyfriend cheating on her with another women (...But I caught him with another woman in the bed I made him...) and decided to kill him.
The 'father' would symbol the Priest, not God in this instance since one line of the song goes "I hear you know God could you give him a nod in my direction" and decides that, to repay the Priest for trying to help her, she should give him a sexual favor.
The beginning of the song is a confession to the Priest (...I've got envy, I've got greed, anything that you need and I'm not above having to beg...) where she is saying that she envies someone, is greedy and would 'beg' the father to help her which also leads to the speculation of her 'whoring' herself out to make her sins go away in the eyes of God.
In my opinion the whole chorus is about her going down to Hell where she is saying that she would like God to save her from the sins that condoned her into Hell in the first place.
