The Wanted - Chasing the Sun Lyrics Meaning

I think it's about a couple of lovers or old friends, and they share this passion for freedom. But in the beginning of the "story", this guy was trapped (maybe imprisoned, or grounded, or just felt confined somehow)and suddenly the friend/partner came and s/he felt light.

Also, it could be about young love, where they are stubborn, curious, and adventurous. The term "chasing the sun" would be like chasing your dreams.
"We've only just begun, hypnotized by drums" would be like hypnotized with the newness of life, where you just felt so... YOUNG and FREE and you think you can do anything.

"They said this day wouldn't come, we refused to run" would be that they relied on themselves and didn't care what others thought.

"And now it feels so amazing, can see it coming and we'll never grow old again" would be that ecstatic feeling when you feel so FREE.

I really like this song, I've always craved for freedom with a Someone (not necessarily a lover) and find this song very inspiring and relating to everything I've always dreamed off.

And I like the part "CHASING THE SUN" it has this... AMAZING feeling to it, it's like a dream but it felt so real.

That's what I think anyway :)
