Crystal Castles - Baptism Lyrics Meaning

I thought that this song what about religion being misleading, everyone giving a different interpretation. "The chronicles are so misleading"

"This is your baptism
And you can't forgive them" There's a reason you need to forgive someone, I thought they forced the person into having a baptism.

"Hold my head underwater" It's sound like they're trying to drown someone, or forcing them into this ,again like I said before.

"Take a breath for the father" I didn't get this line much, didn't know if you take a breath while you're the "water" or when you come up.
